February 5th, 2020

Mammoth hosted their annual school race for the CNISSF league on Friday, January 31st. They also hosted a Citizen’s race and Junior National Qualifier on Saturday, February 2nd. We had two beautiful days for spectating, and the coaches showcased their waxing skills, applying klister to classic skis both days.

Mia Karch had an incredible day, winning the open division for the high school race by 1:39.

Mammoth Middle School girls were led by Ella Walker (3rd), Lila Creasy (4th), Olivia Karch (5th), and Lily Fazio (6th). Lucy Perry (45th). Representing Mammoth nordic trainees, but racing independently we had CJ Andelman (22nd) and Parker Andelman (61st).

Mammoth Middle School boys, once again dominated the field of 87 racers. Cabot Godoy took first place by 14 seconds, followed with top ten finishes by teammates Cyrus Godoy (2nd), Davin Wolter (4th), Dane Karch (5th). MMS athletes continued to show their strength with Wade Perry (11th), Jack Leonard (12th), Beckett Paige (18th), Owen Czeschin (20th), Jude Howell (21st), Wyman Fisher (24th), Martin Walker (37th), Max Clark (50th), and Rider Pearce (52nd) all of .

There was great racing on Saturday as well, results can be found at:

We would not have been able to host this race without our incredible volunteers: Nancy Fiddler, Chris Thompson, Sue and John Stavlo, Tabby Manneter, Tamarack Staff, and our incredible group of parents. Thank you!
