7-11 Committee (Facilities Advisory)
The Resolution authorizes staff to begin the statutory process to form a Facilities Advisory (7–11) Committee to gather community input and provide recommendations regarding use or disposition of potential surplus real property. Actions authorized include issuing a public call for applications, screening applications for representational
compliance (Education Code § 17389), and preparing a subsequent agenda item for the Board to formally appoint committee members and confirm the real property to be studied.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Facilities Advisory (7-11) Committee of the Mammoth Unified School District will be holding a public hearing at its regularly scheduled meeting on June 24, 2026 at 12:30 P.M. or as reasonably facilitated per the agenda thereafter. The meeting will take place at the District Office located at 461 Sierra Park Road, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546.
The hearing is provided for community input to the Committee on acceptable uses of space and real property, including the sale or lease of surplus real property.
Those wishing to comment may appear in person at the public forum and provide a comment card. Accommodations will be made for any person so requiring. Please see the posted meeting agenda for further details.
