Notice Inviting Bids for Snow Removal

MUSD SNOW REMOVAL 2019-2020 AND 2020-2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of the Mammoth Unified School District (“District”) is calling for and will receive sealed bids for the award of contracts for District snow removal 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 project (“Project”) no later than the below stated Bid Deadline.
Bid Deadline: 2:00 p.m. of the 11th day of October
It is mandatory that all contractors wishing to provide a bid on the Project shall deliver their proposals to Gary Taylor, Mammoth Unified School District at 461 Sierra Park Road, Mammoth Lakes, CA. 93546, for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 (2 years) snow removal services. The snow removal contracts have been separated into four (4) bids:
• Mammoth Elementary School 1500 Meridian Blvd. (Bid #1)
• Mammoth Middle School 1600 Meridian Blvd. (Bid #2)
• Mammoth High School 365 Sierra Park Rd. (Bid #3)
• MUSD Transportation Garage 265 Commerce Way (Bid #4)
Specifications and bid forms are available at the District office. Envelopes containing bids should be marked identifying Mammoth Elementary School snow removal (Bid #1) or Mammoth Middle School snow removal (Bid #2) or Mammoth High School snow removal (Bid #3) or MUSD Transportation Garage snow removal (Bid #4). Sealed bids shall be submitted on the official bid form furnished with the contract documents on or before 2:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2019. The bids will be awarded at the regular school board meeting scheduled for 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2019 in the Mammoth High School multipurpose room.
A non mandatory bid walk through of all sites has been scheduled for Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 9:00 AM. Bidders should meet at the high school flagpole. Alternate times may be scheduled by contacting Gary Taylor at (760) 934-6802 ext. 507.
The Mammoth Unified School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities in the bids,
