Snow Day Information

For school schedules on snow days, the Superintendent makes the call for a Red or Yellow day at or before 5:30 AM.

  • Notice will also be posted on the front page of the district website.

  • If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with your school office.

YELLOW DAYS

All schools start at 10:00 AM

If the call is Yellow, all students should go to their bus stop two (2) hours later than usual, and school is dismissed at regular times:

  • Transition Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Grades 1+2 = 1:50 PM dismissal

  • Grades 3-5 = 2:40 PM dismissal

  • Grades 6-12 = 3:05 PM dismissal

  • Sierra High School = 1:00 PM dismissal

If it becomes necessary to go from a Yellow to a Red Day, the call will be made at or before 7:30 AM.

RED DAYS - NO SCHOOL

All school activities, including meetings, athletics, travel, and practices, are canceled.
