August 8, 2018

Welcome to our Summer Program.  Despite the smoke and other challenges, we have had a wonderful summer so far.  Husky Club's last swim day will be this Friday at Whitmore Poo.  Our last week will be full of activities and two special trips.  Tuesday, August 14, we will attend the IMACA BBQ at Shady Rest Park.  Wednesday, August 15, we will view the movie Christopher Robin at Minaret Cinemas.

Our summer information is posted and updated every Thursday. Parents please remember sign ups are due the Thursday before the week of service.  Payment is due prior to care.  There is no credit for missed days, although you may move days within the same week.  Per state regulations, please sign your child in and out daily with a legible signature.  If you do not note the time for drop off and pick up, I must charge you for the full day.

Our program begins at 7:30 AM with free play.  Weather permitting, we go outside at 8:00 for gross motor free play.  At 8:45 we call the children back inside for morning meeting to discuss the day and the highlights for the week.  At 9:00 we offer a morning snack.  After snack the younger children are separated from the older children and curriculum is designed for each group based on development and interest level.  Each group has separate instruction and staff to ensure age appropriate peer interaction and encourage friendships. Husky Club provides opportunities for children’s growth academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and in many other areas.  This is accomplished through monitoring of free play or organized centers and activities daily.   Lunch is at 12:00 and PM snack is at 3:00. .  Husky Club closes at 5:30 PM.

Please note that the schedule is subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control and to ensure your child's safety.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call me.
