NOTICE INVITING BIDS FOR Mammoth Unified School District Asphalt Rehabilitation PROJECT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of the Mammoth Unified School District (“District”) is calling for and will receive sealed bids for the award of contracts for the Asphalt Rehabilitation project to include Mammoth Elementary School Parking Lot and playground, Mammoth Middle School Parking Lot, Mammoth High School striping, and District Office Parking Lot, Bus Barn Slurry Seal Project (“Project”), no later than the below stated Bid Deadline.
Bid Deadline: 10:00 a.m. of the 20th day of June, 2018.
It is mandatory that all contractors wishing to provide a bid on the Project shall deliver their proposals to Gary Taylor, 461 Sierra Park Road, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546, no later than Bid Deadline specified above. Said bids shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above-stated time and place. Bids received after the Bid Deadline or at other locations will not be accepted. In accordance with Government Code section 53068, any bid received after the Bid Deadline shall be returned to the bidder unopened. Exact scope to be found in bid documents.

Bids, together with any additional materials as required shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope, plainly marked in the upper left-hand corner with the bidder’s name, the bid designation and the date and time for opening of bids. Bids sent via email will not be accepted. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities. Any submission of a bid will be deemed recognition of this right.

A non-mandatory bid walk through is scheduled for Tuesday June 12th at 1:00 PM. Bidders should meet at the Elementary School flagpole. Alternate times may be scheduled by contacting Gary Taylor (760) 934-6802 ext.507

Parent Meeting

MUSD, in partnership with our local agencies, will present an update regarding the incident that occured last week which caused the District to close schools. If you have questions or just want to learn more, please join us on Tuesday, May 8th at 5:30 pm in the Mammoth High School MPR. Representatives from Mammoth Lakes Police Department, Mono County District Attorney's Office, Mono County Behavioral Health and Mammoth Unified School District will present information and plans to ensure the ongoing safety of our students and staff.
