Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)
The Local Control and Accountability Plan, commonly referred to as the LCAP, is an important planning document that helps guide how Mammoth Unified School District supports student learning, student well-being, and continuous improvement across our schools.
The LCAP is a three-year plan that is updated annually. It describes the District’s goals, the actions and services that will be used to meet those goals, and how resources are allocated to support positive outcomes for students. The plan also reflects both statewide educational priorities and local needs identified through data, input, and engagement with students, families, staff, and community partners.
Through the LCAP process, MUSD works to ensure that programs, services, and funding decisions are aligned with the needs of our students, including English learners, foster youth, low-income students, students with disabilities, and other student groups who may benefit from additional support.
Community input is an important part of the LCAP process. Families, staff, students, and community members are encouraged to review the plan, stay informed, and participate in opportunities to provide feedback.
