Threat Assessment and Response Protocol

Mammoth Unified School District is committed to maintaining safe, supportive learning environments for all students and staff. The Threat Assessment and Response Protocol provides a structured process for reviewing reported threats or concerning behavior, gathering relevant information, determining the level of concern, and identifying appropriate next steps.

The goal of this process is to support school safety through careful assessment, timely response, communication with appropriate individuals, and connection to services or interventions when needed. This protocol is not intended to replace emergency response procedures. If there is an immediate danger or threat of violence, call 911.
