Mammoth Elementary - New Transitional Kindergarten Building

Construction planning and site work for the new Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Building began in May 2026.

The new building will include four classrooms and will also house ELOP and Husky Club programs. Teacher move-in is currently scheduled for August 6, 2027.

May 2026: Mobilization and demolition
June 2026: Start building pad
July 2026: Underground utilities
August 2026: Increment 2 Division of the State Architect (DSA) plans approval
October 2026: Building foundation
December 2026: Steel superstructure
February 2027: Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) rough-in
March 2027: Exterior building envelope
May 2027: Exterior building punch walk
June 2027: Interior building finishes
August 6, 2027: Teacher move-in

Mammoth High/Middle School Field

Work on the Mammoth High/Middle School Field is scheduled to begin in May 2026 and be completed by August 3, 2026, followed by a required 90-day maintenance period.

Key Milestones

May 2026: Mobilization, utility locating, and rough grading
June 2026: Trenching and irrigation installation
July 2026: Sod installation
August 3, 2026: Completion
October 22, 2026: End of 90-day maintenance period

Mammoth Elementary School - Field House

The MES Field House project is currently in the design and planning phase, with construction anticipated from July 2027 through July 2028.
